This is a pretty poem! I think it means that this couple just enjoyed bein' with each other so much that it didn't matter what they did and that when they just needed to be quiet they could be and just be in each other's presence and be completely content...it is rather beautiful, if you think about it. But to leave these romantic thoughts, I just have to say that if I was around that bottom...I'd never be dry! Heehee...
He and I
When words run dry,
he does not try,
nor do I.
We are on par.
He just is,
I just am,
and we just are.
